First sorry to not talk in terms of metric but please do replay in metric if you wish?

Spent 10 minutes trying to find a convo about this..still feel like is should be out there just point me to it if so?

The question . What have you averaged for miles per kilowatt? And in what conditions?

For me: mixed city and highway driving, more inner city than anything else. About 7000 miles in. Chicago so warm and sometimes very cold conditions. Not a super aggressive driver. Anything else? With that I am at 2.4 m/kwh.

How have others fared?

3 mi/kWh over 5,286 miles, just a tad over a year.

Mixed driving as well, more city than highway speeds… but when on the highway, flying low.

Turbo, 21” aero.

Thanks good points I should have added: Macan 4 21" and when I am on the highway its typically 80-85 mph (midwest road trips! wide open road...).

I am at 2.96 miles per after almost a year with summer 21 inch, winter 20 inch, Macan 4S. The average will probably slightly lower after the ful winter though. We have mild summers and 0 degree celsius winters here.

Half probably city driving, other half autobahn at various speeds.

But generally very happy with consumption for such a fun car.

4s 20” wheels - 4500 miles roughly equal local and 70 mph - 3.2 miles / kw. In the UK so mild winter and not too hot summers. Best 4 and worst 2.2 miles / kw.

I’ve averaged 2.8 mi/kwh since I got my car in June. 21” turbo.
I’ve noticed a severe drop in range when it’s been less than 5 degrees c (41 f). What I struggle with is the predictably. Took off yesterday stating a range of 280 miles. After about 70 miles is was around 160. Mainly 35-70 mph speed. Weather was sunny but about 7 c (45 f) and the average consumption was 2.5 I.e a 100% range of around 240 seems more reasonable in these conditions..

Wheel size and climate (country) is as important as trim levels, so would be useful if these are included in each post.

I realize I typo-ed, I am at 2.7 m/kwh. Below is by month:

Electric Macan EV Long term miles per kilowatt 1767194426701-y0

January and Feb I did some roadtrips in 10 degree F weather, no ability to garage and keep battery semi-warm. July/Aug I think I had some pretty high speed road trips.

And speed does in fact kill:

4 with offroad pack, std aero 20, pano and roof bars (thule cross bars) half total miles with thule evo roofbox since feb 2025 - 8016 miles and 2.8 mi/kwh. motorway city rural 3/3 mix with 50/50 ac/dc charging, so pretty happy with consumption considering roofbox and bars. never hypermile always have a smile with this car despite a few annoying niggles. no deal breakers.

The real killer of range is the heating. Every time I put the heating on the range dives by up to 50 miles !

Pacific Northwest - warm summers, cool and wet winters. 4S on 20", 3.0 miles/kwh at 3000 miles. Most of my milage has been in the summer, and winter city driving is having a hard time getting to 3.0 on short trips.

Wet driving with short trips is interesting, as I've noticed the car not using regen during braking at the start of a number of recent trips to keep the brakes disks clean, which hurts the range considerably.
