It would be nice to know build dates of vehicles with these problems too.

@bayfarmbz: Luckily, haven’t had these issues so far, but the dealer did make several changes to my car when I went in for a different issue (a sticky hatch). One was to reset the TPMS and another to update the software. I was told this was to make the vehicle’s systems work better together. BTW: The hatch issue is still waiting resolution, but I believe the issue may finally be understood and resolved with an updated part. My dealer has been attentive and yours should be next level attentive.

Having confidence in your car is a must. Be sure to understand the lemon law in California. In Ohio, the law applies both to multiple instances of the same failure and to a certain number of unrelated failures. I wish you best of luck resolving these issues in whatever form that takes including buy back If necessary.

Phantom braking on Auto Pilot in a Tesla MY (and owner of the company) was a big reason we switched vehicles- very scary on a freeway in rush hour. That said, the inability of your car to be fixed suggests it is a lemon. We had a Range Rover diesel that developed unfixable emissions issues, and found the CA lemon law helped greatly when JLR tried to slow roll a resolution. Not sure about OR. A sit down with the dealership manager might resolve this, although the dealer is getting paid for "fixing" it, so perhaps a call to Porsche USA? Check the lemon law regs- I have heard that it is typical for there to need three attempts to fix the same problem, but same in CA meant any emissions issue, not just a particular subset. Good luck!

Phantom braking and every warning happened again. Going back to dealer tomorrow.

Put me on the disappointed list.
Based on the errors you shared, it’s some kind of software or sensor failure. “Phantom braking“ I would define as emergency braking due to the sensor failure. Safety feature I guess, but scary I’m sure.

Hope they find the root cause and get it corrected. I. Sure that was very unnerving the first time, let alone the second.

The errors persisted overnight. Car stuttered and randomly braked multiple times on way to the dealer. Probably should have had it towed.

Car was great for the one week it worked.

I’ll update here if they figure anything out.
