On the macan ev the driver's display can be configured but it's very limited in ways that don't seem to make sense to me. They're trying to mimic the scope/tube model from the mechanical displays.
Here's one example: I'd like to be able to see the discharge/charge display (not sure what they actually call it) but it's only configurable in the center "tube" which is ludicrous since it then replaces the map which is arguably most important. In the attached image, the display in the center cannot (as far as I know) but shown on the left or the right tube. What possible reason could there be for that limitation?
Perhaps I'm wrong and there's a way to do it but Porsche was unable to tell me how to do it.
