I too was waffling about color prior to placing my order and was disappointed that there were no red or yellow exterior options. The Gentian blue looks great in person, however I had a blue Tesla for the past several years and watched a change.Very nice, looks like the same as my config, but I keep waffling on color. I'm also thinking STD chrome window surrounds.
The 2 dealers in the Boston area must have 20 Macan EVs on the lot, some sold. 15 of them are Volcano. Maybe I should be different That Aventurine Green looks great in most lighting. My Mini SE is arctic silver which is about the same as the ice grey, looks white. Wife says she doesn't like white or black. So I was thinking Dolomite with its hint of blue. But then I get drawn back to Volcano which may be the best compromise for me. I like the Fountain Blue but that is a 10+K paint option.I too was waffling about color prior to placing my order and was disappointed that there were no red or yellow exterior options. Black looks awesome but only when it’s clean, so I decided on the sophisticated-looking Volcano Gray after seeing it on a Panamera.
The window surround color is a personal preference but I think it blends much better in the high gloss black. That being said, I saved a few dollars by going with the standard side blades and silver badges which looked okay in the photos I’ve seen.
I wish I had changed the silver electric logo, makes it a target. However, everything else is good to go with standard blades, etc.I too was waffling about color prior to placing my order and was disappointed that there were no red or yellow exterior options. You can DIY a logo swap for a couple hundred bucks as soon as Suncoast has the part. It's very easy. Or take 3 minutes and remove it.I wish I had changed the silver electric logo, makes it a target. However, everything else is good to go with standard blades, etc.
If I had gotten the white, blue or black exterior then I would have opted for the black logos. I thought the silver logos blended okay with Volcano Grey so I didn’t bother paying for the option. I did opt for the black window frames on my 4S (which were standard on the 4).I wish I had changed the silver electric logo, makes it a target. Yeah, I checked the Macan EV inventory in Charlotte and Volcano Grey is by far the most common color here as well. Good thing I got the red seatbelts and compass dial to stand out from the rest! The 2 dealers in the Boston area must have 20 Macan EVs on the lot, some sold. 15 of them are Volcano. Congratulations ! Muitos Parabéns e muitas felicidades com a nova máquina !Picked up my 4s at November 7th.
I've taken very short trips so far. I hope to do something longer in the coming weeks.
My Macan:
Volcano Grey Metallic with Exterior mirrors, Door release levers and Sideblades painted in Black
20-inch Macan S Wheels
Leather Package in Black
Comfort Seats front (14-way)
Panoramic roof system
Rear-Axle Steering
Adaptive air suspension
Matrix LED Headlights
Privacy glass
Surround View incl. Active Parking Support
Porsche InnoDrive with Active Lane Keeping
First little experience:
For reference, my last car was a BMW 530e.
On the uneven streets of my city, the car shows itself very well.
The rear axle steering really makes a difference. I can make much tighter turns
On the highway the innodrive system is really fantastic. Although it still had very few km, I drove a section of highway with it running and it behaved very well, both when cornering and keeping its distance from the car in front.
Sorry I don't have much feedback yet... Not much time to enjoy it yet.
Yes, and presumably will be in the GTS as well when introduced. This is a historic Porsche tradition. Are the red break calipers exclusive to the 4S and Turbo models?
I watched a YouTube review recently on the Turbo and the car had papayaYes, and presumably will be in the GTS as well when introduced. This is a historic Porsche tradition.
I watched the same video, I think it was Autotrader. I was very curious about that, but I believe that it was some kind of filter that they used in the video, because there are a few scenes where the calipers were red in the turbo they were reviewing. They were just brief scenes, but it was definitely in the video.I watched a YouTube review recently on the Turbo and the car had papaya
orange calipers to match the bodywork. I can’t recall seeing this option in the configurator.
Did you test drive Turbo or Macan 4 before 4S - do you (or anyone) have any comparison regarding performance? Does 4S feel more like 4 or Turbo?Picked up my 4s at November 7th.

Calipers are red. The s and Turbo have red calipers, and others have black calipers iirc
