New software update

Good afternoon,

I was supposed to pick up my new Macan 4 today, but I got a call saying that a new software update was released for all Macan EVs on Friday. Has anyone updated it yet?

Mine was updated 2 weeks ago due to problems with systems that stopped working. It's back in the shop today to correct the same issues. Hopefully they get it fixed this time and you get a new car that doesn't need repeated trips back to the shop.

No, he only told me about fix issues

I have also seen on another forum something about a stop deliver order based on software updates related to the reverse camera. My vehicle has been at Davisville port since 3/31 with a delayed ETA to dealer of April 21 - 28.

And told me that the update will take about 6 hours

I had a similar message while driving yesterday. It began with a warning that "assistance systems" were unavailable and included a yellow warning light that was a yellow heart icon with a lightning bolt in the middle and a "+" sign above it on the right side of the heart icon. Did not affect driving performance. I turned the car off when I got home, and the warning/heart symbol were gone when I drove it a few hours later.

Does anyone know where there is a listing of the little icons (that we may or may not ever see) and a description of their meanings?

You can download the manual in the MyPorsche app. There is a page that shows the icons and their meanings. The heart thing is to auto-stop the vehicle if it detects an unresponsive driver.

Based in NZ and I was told there is a new campaign too, my Turbo was delivered 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately they could not get the update installed successfully so needs to go back again at another time to get that completed.

In the printed manual that came with the car or in the app.
Apparently some people never read a manual....

I actually searched the manual for quite awhile before posting, thank you.

Nothing can be found by searching the terms: icon, dashboard, safety, heart icon, display, instrument cluster, etc.

I'm guessing that if you KNOW what the icon means, you can probably find a description of that icon on the corresponding page if you KNOW to go there.

What I'm looking for is a list of ALL icons that appear on the dashboard so I know where to look for the corresponding reason for it's showing up. IF that's in the manual, please direct me to the appropriate page.
