I actually searched the manual for quite awhile before posting, thank you.

Nothing can be found by searching the terms: icon, dashboard, safety, heart icon, display, instrument cluster, etc.

I'm guessing that if you KNOW what the icon means, you can probably find a description of that icon on the corresponding page if you KNOW to go there.

What I'm looking for is a list of ALL icons that appear on the dashboard so I know where to look for the corresponding reason for it's showing up. IF that's in the manual, please direct me to the appropriate page.

In the manual on the MyPorsche app, go to
Chapter Overview>
Warning messages and information messages>
Warning lights and indicator lights.

I believe you will find the list of dashboard icons there.

It’s not so much learning about a new EV - but learning about car manuals in general I was surprised you didn’t search the manual for ‘warning sign’ being as you tried so many other options.

For those less familiar with user manuals (probably a good percentage of those on this forum )….

The first section of the warning signs and display messages chapter states that each icon can have a colour coding.

Red - Critical defect/issue (I’m usually a ‘stop driving now!’)
Amber - Moderate defect/issue (fine to drive but get it sorted ASAP)
White - System briefly not active

The second section then goes on to explain the meaning of each icon.

Ours in now in the middle of its six hours major software update described above (VR28.11 Software Extension), with it having the typical symptoms others have posted theirs experieced, e..g. things that had been previously successsfully set — and worked several times, then going blank, e.g., PCM boxes that were checked off at one time were no longer checked off, and the settings and systems that relate to them then also no longer worked— such Location Auto Lift, Auto Lock, media station settings, and at least seven other newly failed ones, with ours having somewhat unique ones of the complete rear driver’s quarter lights failing. As the service department is now in the softwareupdate process we are pleased. What we do not know is t whether the dealership’s also identified seven component modules needing updating, if VR28.11 would auto-fix those too, or whether it would thereafter need many more hours of software updates.

I have read on Rennlist that cars are being held at the ports as a Stop delivery has been issued over a rear camera software update. Is this part of the update reported on here ?
Being a real cynic I wondered if Porsche were holding the cars at the ports to see if tariffs were lifted, rather than announcing as Audi have that cars would be held. There is no indication in Rennlist whether the cars have cleared customs or whether Porsche are saying the car hasn’t been imported as it has a ‘defect’

Got update today from dealer today after a very glitchy items. They noted it was a major update and took all day. Fingers crossed it has fixed the few items I was experiencing.
