SPECS

Macan 4

• dual motors
• 402 horsepower / 479 lb-ft torque (in launch control w/ overboost)
• 4 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds (using launch control w/ overboost)
• 136 mph top speed

Macan Turbo

• dual motors
• 630 horsepower / 833 lb-ft torque (in launch control w/ overboost)
• 4 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds (using launch control w/ overboost)
• 161 mph top speed
• rear-wheel torque vectoring via an electronically-controlled limited-slip differential

Both trims come standard with adaptive air suspension and dual-valve shocks

Rear-wheel steering will be an option

Both get same battery pack with 100 kWh total capacity, 96 of it available.

800-volt architecture allows DC fast charging speeds up to 270 kW.
With a 800-volt charger, charging from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.

On a 400-watt charging speed drop to 135 kW.

Official EPA range is not available yet.

My personal opinion is that the base price is way too high. No real reason for that really, should be 10% less at least.

For gods sake not even ACC is included in Base Macan4… lol its 2024, cmon…

Does anyone know what is the color on the Turbo? It doesn’t seem to be plain White (especially in Kyle’s video) but rather grey.

If so, it would be either Dolomite or Ice Grey. I feel it’s the latter, with the Carbon side blades.

Does that sound right?

That's a good question, it's either White or Ice Grey Metallic I think.

The reasons I don’t think it’s White are:
- the reflections/brightness on the paint (the base white is quite plain)
- the license plate is much whiter than the car

Dolomite is bluer so Ice Grey seems right to me.

Yeah I agree. Ice Grey Metallic is a pretty nice colour.

In the US that will also be annoying. I was hoping to use the Tesla network going forward, because EA has been a huge letdown. But for the foreseeable future, a good chunk of Tesla's network will be 400V. So then we're playing russian roulette on a road trip as to whether a particular leg of the journey ends up with 400V or 800V, or alternatively having to do research and specific route planning, both is annoying as hell.
135KW is pretty low. At that point, we're pretty much joining cheap EVs like ID.4's 125kw.
