One of The reasons I like our Macan is that is feels much more like a normal enthusiast‘s car. With ”thrust recuperation” off, using the accelerator makes the car go and lifting off it makes the car coast. Using the brakes makes the car slow down (and also regenerates some energy into the battery)
With “thrust recuperation” on, there is some slowing of the car and battery regeneration, although at a less abrupt rate than one-pedal driving would allow on other EV’s. I usually only use it when going down hills (similar to engine braking in a lower gear in an ICE vehicle).
