10% is much normally it’s around 5 … so I calculate with 90kwh usable …
Macan EV batteries are of a different chemistry so hopefully that means less loss of SoH. However, this is my data for the 2023 Taycan measuring SoH every 1k miles and doing a checksum check on the back using battery energy data reported, showing steep loss of capacity during the first 10k miles.

I see 5% difference with my iX Summer versus winter … so one can only compare SOH when the battery has been at the same average temp for some weeks … I f that is the case it’s a rather steep drop

This is both interesting and a bit distressing. What are your charging habits (meaning: AC vs DC charging, percentage you charge up to, percentage you run down to, is the car garaged, how often do you charge, etc.) I realize it's probably hard to give either a general or detailed answer to some of those questions, but maybe you could provide an an overview. Thanks!

SoH is not SoC. SoH has to do with battery degradation over time so it will impact range no matter of the season or temperature.

My data above is consistent with other Taycan owners, so it is expected. Always garaged in insulated garage with the most gentle charging protocol known to me based on data.

The question is will Macan EV see same degradation behavior.

With the app eFlow I measure lower SOH in winter then in summer, the reason is quite simpel, with lower temps the battery has lower capacity and there is no way that I know of that this can be taken into account …

I think I even noticed this with the BMW data itself, you can get via the portal all data of your car … it reports vastly different numbers in winter versus summer …

I do know that SOH is not only capacity, but I definitely see a difference in summer vs winter in the App I was below community average in winter and above in summer 🤷‍♂️

You also see this in your graph … the battery cannot heal itself a gain back capacity / SOH, these processes are irreversible …

PS I do know the difference between SOC en SOH ;-)
