Is anyone have issues with very rough, bouncing, harsh ride over anything except smooth roads? My Macan 4 seems to be a cross between a pogo-stick, roller coaster, and back compressor. Absolutely horrible ride quality. The demo I drove, and the turbo loaner both were smooth on the same roads.

And/or that during the pre-delivery inspection that the Tech forgot to lower the much higher PSI that they put into tires for ship transport. I once took a test ride and rejected the WRX immeidatel, just several blocks away as it rode like the tires were filled with concrete.

Turned out the PSI was 12 higher than it should have been (again failure of a PDI Tech to lower it for street use). With the 12 PSi removed, it rode nicely firm — just the way I wanted. I bought it.

Something unusual with your Macan 4. My Macan 4 has about 3,500 miles on it and it rides smoothly when I set the driving mode to Normal or Sport. Sport+ is designed to be rough because it aims to provide the best grip possible.

This is common when PDI techs overinflate the tires on cars intended to stand on the lot as standard procedure. They did it for one of my cars on delivery without realizing it and I called it right away as I got into it to drive to the PPF shop. The lesson is to check your tire type/size setting and pressure before driving off from the dealer.

My 4S is very noisy over rough roads and pot holes. Much worse than my BMW iX1 and all my previous ICE cars. If you ever find a solution then please post back here.

I have a similar problem with my turbo - very harsh ride compared to a loaner I drove (same wheel sizes and both with air suspension)

All vehicles are deliberately overinflated for transit purposes, and as Sergey noted and my experience too, is tire overinflated is the very first place to diagnosis and hopefully solve a big piece (maybe all). of your harsh rides. Some have found that deliberately underinflating a pound or two works really well for their enjoyment without compromising handling more than a tad.

I'm on 22 summers and its very rough and firm ... so rough in fact that I'm test driving one with 22" all seasons next week to see if that will make a difference .... and whether there is something wrong with mine ... mine are also 37-39 PSI (partial load) so its in the range of the recommended PSI

We look forward to your posting back here next week with your driving with the A/S tires — for you tire pressure are clearly not too high.

Turbo, 22” all seasons, 46psi all around, smooth like a Cadillac in normal, even sport plus firmest and lowest settings is very compliant.
I supposed that’s good to hear … in that maybe there’s something wrong with my suspension and Porsche can address OR I just need to get all seasons …

For me it’s butter smooth when the road is smooth but any unevenness or bumps on the road causes the car to rock left and right. This is all on normal mode.

Out of curiosity what did the lotto yield you in terms of the brand of the 22”

Same here. 22” RS Spyders with Michelin Sport Pilot All Season tires. Very comfortable in Normal but noticeably firmer in Sport or Sport+ (expected).
