I am still waiting on the delivery of my Macan Turbo with 22" RS Spyder wheels and summer tires. I went with my friend to collect his Macan 4 that he ordered with the same wheels and summer performance tires. He ended up with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa's (PZC4) on his car. Nice tire, high performance road and track tire. Not quite as sticky as Cup 2's, but a better all arounder.

Are the OEM 20 inch summer tires the so called max performance type that could be damaged when used in 25-30 degree F weather (-4 to -1 C)?

No sure if they would be damaged but would become hard as rock in low temperatures which make them dangerous to drive in the winter, particularly in icy conditions.

I have the Bridgestone 20 inch on Turbo, I did find that while the handling is great, the noise and consumption are not, what I did experience … also they seems to Wear out quickly …

Ended up with Continentals on my Macan 4 with 22” RS Spyder Design Wheels. Just took delivery two days ago so too early to comment on satisfaction with tire noise/performance.

So which tires are acceptable. I am reading Michelin and Goodyear. If I loose the lottery which specific all weather tires would you swap for? Thanks

I had the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 on my ICE Macan and thought they were pretty good (considering they were all seasons), but the noise was not a factor. I now have the summer Michelin Pilot Sport EV and I like them better grip-wise (obviously), my main complaint so far is the noise, but I suspect this is a car-wide issue.

According to Porsche's own specifications from the tire labels, the Michelin tire is less quiet: 74 dB. With the GoodYear this is 70 dB as I wrote at the start of this thread.
Perhaps this is the reason for what you hear, especially with the relatively quiet electric Macan compared to the ICE Macan.

Thanks for pointing this out! Part of my remark is that I've been in other EVs with much cheaper finishes, and I'm still surprised by how not quiet the Macan is. But indeed, I have only tried the Michelin.

With 20" standard wheels, I was given Michelin Pilot Sport EV tyres.
I find them quite noisy.
Given a choice, I would have gone for Hankook ones. I heard they are good, and as per the configuration, they are least noisy.

Same on my 22" Spyders. Noise isn't bad, certainly better than my Rivian on 20" Michelins was, but could be a bit more quiet on certain surfaces.

I'm at 3.0 mi/kwh so far with relatively cool temperatures (although driving pretty conservatively - mixed highway/city), which is somewhat encouraging once temps come back to 60-70F.

My 20” came equipped with pirellis.

I just heard from my SA that my 4S has arrived at the dealership and has 20” Pirelli Scorpion all season tires. I previously preferred Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 tires on my Tesla Y.

@toothsurgeon @quaxon How you like the 20” Pirelli A/S tires, particularly in terms of ride and road noise?
