This is the same thing on Amazon - but classified as Cayenne. Checked that pics and dimensions are the same.
My car is in the shop finishing up PPF install but I will take your word for it (its only $50 CND) so I ordered it. I will update this when I get them

donā€™t take my word for it please - I am still waiting for my car. I was just replying to a previous post where someone said there should be an equivalent link on Amazon for the Ali Express product.

The dimensions are shown on Amazon - measure the actual vent dimensions in your car to confirm it fits please.

Ok so the vent covers arrived and are about 3 cm too short. So they donā€™t fit. However now that I have them I am concerned about limiting air flow. Just as an experiment I am cutting one in half (because they fit snugly virtually) and comparing. There is a 3D printer shop in town and if flow is ok I may get them to make a set for me. As you can see I have some time on my hands šŸ˜œ

Ok here is the update on my little experiment. I cut one of the vent covers and installed. See photo. Then I turned on max AC in the rear (I have 4 zone temp option) and there is a noticeable degradation in air flow so I would NOT recommend covering up the vent holes if you want to get air to the rear seats effectively. That said the vents point aft not up so you are not going to drop anything into the holes from the front seats. Also, I have the all-weather mats and they have a lip the rised up to keep stuff from going under the front seats. I now think those mats are a must have to avoid pushing any water or debris on the rear floors into those vent holes.

I was considering having my 3D shop in town make some custom covers but now I see the big different only maybe a wire mess design would be adequate. I am probably just going to keep the rear floors clean...not a bad idea anyway. :giggle:

Well,I don't think anything out there atm will gonna do the job without restricting airflow (that much) and looking nice at the same time because none of these parts are designed especially for the new Macan exclusively. There's a chance sometime in the future something nice will come along when they realize there's actually a need for such an aftermarket part.Till then, only a 3D designer with a 3D design software and a 3D printer will be the only acceptable (for my taste at least) solution.I have both with plenty additional time to spare and it would be pretty easy and also quite fun to design something like this but unfortunately the most important thing is yet to come - the car itself... :giggle: Without the car in my hand to take the exact vents measurements the way I need, it's impossible to design correctly something like this.
As for the grill, it must have quite large openings, almost something like this:

Maybe just cut a piece of wire mesh and place behind the vent covers. It should prevent small objects from falling inside and as long as the mesh is not too tight it shouldnā€™t interfere with the air flow.

Some mesh attached to the vent opening might work but it looks level so nothing is falling in but rather might block the opening. I think you can get any material in there out with a vacuum. I am now less convinced that anything is needed because the whole point is to prevent blockage and putting even mesh will create blockage šŸ˜œ
