Today, we couldn't order any illuminated sills. That was the only thing on our order we needed to change due to supply constraints.

Same with my 4S order I finalized this weekend. Illuminated door sills and the thermal and noise insulated glass were unavailable.

The order I placed ~6 weeks ago just shows "LED-Matrix Design Headlights in Black", but it is code 8IV, which is the same code the build page shows now for the "LED-Matrix Design Headlights in Black incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+)". So I think they just changed the description, not the functionality.

The PDLS+ designation went on the description and then came back off a couple weeks ago. I was assured by my SA that the two options were purely cosmetic. I wasn’t totally confident that was correct so I just kept the option ticked (assume I will like the look of it better anyhow).

Placed my order three days ago. Macan Turbo, due to be built early December for delivery early January.

Wouldn't normally go with a subdued colour like Volcano Grey, but I saw one with the Turbonite elements and it looks superb. Classy and luxurious.

Just been told by my dealer that illuminated door sills may delay the order. I've ordered the dark aluminium.

I was dead sure there was a topic for this but couldn't find it... so here goes.

I've finally firmed up my configuration. Lock day is just a few weeks away but I'm done tinkering with the specs.

Delivery scheduled for October.

• Leather package in Black/Chalk
• 21" Macan Turbo Wheels
• Sports Chrono Package
• Rear Axle Steering
• InnoDrive

Will still try to get the "Model Designation on Rear and "electric" Logo on Side" removed, don't have the option to in the US configurator but exists in other countries (option code 0NA).

Kept the options to a slim $6.3k, half of that for performance related items.

Yikes, I hope the illuminated door sills don’t delay production of my 4S which was scheduled this month.

I had to remove this today for my Nov build (Uk)

I also wanted to remove that electric logo but was told that it was not possible. In Europe also.

I removed the model logo and didn't spec the Electric logo (that wasn't free). Maybe it's market related...

Apparently the illuminated aluminum doors sills did not delay the (US) build of my Macan. I just heard from my SA that production of my 4S will be completed by tomorrow.

Just placed an order today with an allocation that had a freeze date in 3 days. Thankfully have been playing with configurator for awhile now, and having had a few Porsches in the past and experienced with the intricacies of the rabbit hole that is the Porsche configurator.

The car is for my wife, no need for sporty enhancements. It was hard for me to hold back on some of the sporty options as I have on my car, but at least I was able to get the 4S despite her not needing anything more than the 4. The 4S allocation was going to deliver sooner and was minimally more expensive in our configuration. The color and trim choices are a little bold and out there but I feel it will be special feeling and keep her happy for quite some time.

Always the fear of regret on the final option choices, but feel pretty good about our final build.

Thanks, and yes, I think it is very classy, unique with a little bit of glam, just like my wife, lol! I will make sure she reads this too, always need some brownie points!
