What's the order / delivery status of your Macan EV? [Update your status if/when it changes]

The PDF they generate cuts off at least the last 2 ports - the ones on the West coast - in that table. I hope the ship's captain has better info about where they should be docking.

I was informed that my 4S is on "Administrative Hold" at the port in San Diego. No further information currently available. Shrug.

I had a similar experience at the port in Jacksonville. My 4S was recently held there for two weeks due to a “quality action” with no additional details provided. Hopefully these delays are just related to software updates since Porsche is presumably required to inform the buyer if the car sustains any material damage in transport.

Fortunately mine was loaded onto a transport truck and headed to the dealership in NC yesterday (12/12). I plan to take delivery next Saturday, 12/21 — can’t wait!

Nice, mine is supposed to arrive there on Wednesday. But i'm not sure if if it's being offloaded there, or in Baltimore (which is closer to the final destination). I think the vessel stops in Davisville, then goes to Baltimore.

I just got a notification from my SA that my car is on the RCC Europe, which isn't even listed in the Volkswagen PDF for car carrier departures!

But after reading that the new CLA EV is claiming close to 800 miles of driving range with 20 minutes of charging, I'm definitely leasing the Porsche. It's not about the CLA. It's the tech. The tech is improving fast and I think the value of our Macans might tank faster than I was hoping.

By that logic Macan gets close to that number (398 WLTP 100->0 + 21 min charging 0->80 + 322 80->0 WLTP from charge = ~720 miles WLTP). It's all marketing.

Once Porsche gets access to the Tesla network the range concerns will no longer be an issue.

it's all marketing till they put out official info. and these are big claims from a smaller battery at that...

So, there are two stops for charging in between claimed "800 miles". Good marketing there
I'm happy to take 3 or 4 stops, and preferably longer than 10 minutes for toilet break, snack, coffee etc. I can barely drive 100 miles in one stretch.

According to Mercedes-Benz engineers behind the new model, the new CLA EV can drive 789 miles (1,270 km) with two 10-minute charging stops. Timo Stegmaier, senior manager for the CLA’s electric drive system, told Auto Express the electric car traveled 2,309 miles in 24 hours during testing. The electric car was charged 40 times, 10 minutes apiece.
