Drive Assist | GJ7 option has disappeared from configurator for US 2027 models?

Very odd for the North American configurator - no Drive Assist (GJ7). I just now checked the 2027 Turbo and the GJ7 is not available as an option (or in standard equipment).

Similar to your situation, I have a 2026 Macan 4 EV on order (delivery November). When the 2026 Porsche Code was "converted" to the 2027 model - no GJ7 option. I assume my 2026 model will physically deliver with the option, but I don't know.

100% you will get it. You have your PO with Porsche and that is a contract and it is there when you placed the order. This is simply a regional bug of the configurator which is very common. Germany has it so it is all good. 2027 is just a carryover model year and the price increases are at option level vs. 2026.

I wouldn’t worry. You can check your ordered config in the app at My Porsche > Vehicle Specification > Included Options

They change the Leipzig production lines over to the next MY in August when most Europeans are on vacation. I was able to lock in 2026 pricing with my dealer but I suspect based on the delivery timing I’ll end up with the (likely functionally identical) 2027 MY.

also I noticed that the GTS base price is increased by $3k Canadian

The only exception to be precise and would apply to any option if there is a disruption in the supply chain. Then factory would come back and give alternatives to consider.

Very true. When the Macan EV first became available some components were in short supply and became temporarily unavailable when building a car using the configurator. One example is the dual-layer thermal and noise insulating glass -- it disappeared from the configurator for a while and could not be added to a build.

The option is in the UK configurator. It can’t be a regulatory issue in the US as it’s still offered on the Cayenne EV there, as well as being approved for years.

If it is a mistake missing from the US configurator, that applies to the ICE Macan as well..

It’s interesting that on the US configurator all of the other models (including the Cayenne ICE) still have InnoDrive rather than Drive Assist, except the Cayenne EV.

they just updated the pricing for 27 model year and in the US they don't even have 27 macan ev build slots (expected this month per my dealer). I would wait, it will show up. i just submitted a proposed build for a 27 and want this option too, we have it on the 24 that is end of lease and the system works well.

I just went through the German turbo 2027 config and the only difference I noticed from my pending 2026 order was that the 2027 now includes 22kW AC charging as standard equipment. And there’s also now an option for the color Porsche hood ornament instead of the default turbonite version.

My car doesn’t enter production until Aug 27 and will either one of the last 2026 slots (or hopefully for the 22kW upgrade) one of the first 2027 slots.

It appears the US configurator is now using the 2027 models. Interesting, I had a Porsche code from 2026 that was "converted" to 2027 model year, and the Drive Assist (GJ7) option has gone missing. Maybe standard feature now for 2027?

That's a significant update with more cameras being required, I wouldn't expect that to appear until the first facelift.

We just got a Nov build slot (Jan delivery) for a 27 Macan 4. It doesn’t lock for a bit but will check on this option once i have a chance to connect with he dealer live on the build.
