Waiting for my macan 4s delivery - mid November. But I had a chance to drive Macan 4 and Turbo recenty. First impression of 4: slightly (just a little bit) to little power comparing to this weight... Maybe I was biased since the day before I drove 911 GT3:). Turbo: just perfect. I did not want to get out...
After this expierience I have my question: Anyone actually drove 4S?
I can imagine it should have noticable more power than standard 4 but I am curious about launch feeling or how it speeds up comparing to this Turbo miracle.

GTS will be the 'sweet spot' when it comes and used to be the 4S across the range until the GTS muscled in.

Yes, but would it really be useful in normal day-to-day driving?
On my daily errands, I can barely go beyond 20-30 MPH

typically in the Porsche line up the 4S/GTS models are a pretty good set of trade-offs - price/options/performance...hard to go wrong in the middle of the Porsche price ranges…

have not test driven a 4S yet. I have one on order as well. But i'm assuming dealerships will start getting them in the next month...

I have a turbo and yes it is a miracle. However I am sure the 4s is the sweet spot you will be happy with it. However that said If I were you wouldn’t have driven the turbo😜!

This weekend I was driving a Taycan 4S 2nd gen, brand new, <1,000km – got it on a test drive for two days from Porsche in Sydney. Yeah, not a Macan 4S - but O.M.G this was a beast !!! Can’t wait for my 4S!!

Rarely the point!

Given that you have an EV which is already (arguably) too powerful / fast the power debate is almost a side issue. GTS has a (apologies for the cliche) certain cachet about it and invariably a must for Alcantara lovers. The additional power over a 4S (for example) is marginal but the standard driving setup is better and hence the sweeter option.

Pretty sure that most of us have low average speed on a daily commute regardless if we have a base model or a GT and to drive for regular commuting purposes they are equivalent. It's the prospect of that latent torque and instant power delivery which makes it more interesting when conditions permit.

Test drove the 4 and turbo, at cruising speeds not much difference, but it's when you mash the throttle the turbo kicks you in the teeth, the 4 not as much.
I suspect the 4S will be somewhere in the middle.
