OBD to track Battery SOH?

Anyone planning to follow the battery SOH with a OBD?

Anyone planning to follow the battery SOH with a OBD?
Of course, I will transfer the one from my Taycan to my Macan 4 "OBDLINK CX Bimmercode Bluetooth 5.1 BLE OBD2 Adapter", normally in 10 days.
I hope the SOH will decrease less than my Taycan's 😢

Will it work from day one? If i remember correct i had to choose Taycan when setting up the OBD. I had the same problem, and my Taycan was down to 88% here 4 year and 60000km later. Will turn it in tomorrow when I get my Macan. They did not ask for the SOH or see the car 🙀, so not importent to them

85.6% 33000 km 3 years here ; but 84.96 one year ago !! with my obd and Porsche confirmed measurement .
Like you they don't care about the soh ...
The car has a few light scratches, I did not repair them due to the disastrous trade-in prices.:crying:
The Macan EV is not yet in the list to configure car scanner app ; you will share your experience with us

I Can not read the SOH on my macan. I Can not Even find the obd like I used to on my Taycan. Are there any luck from snottet member of this group?

What do you mean you can’t find the OBD? The port itself is missing?

The port exist , but the OBD (at least mine OBD CX link) is ignored by the apps OBD link , E Flow and CarScanner.

Macan ev , and generally the setting for the PPE platform cars is not yet done.

I' ve send a message to Carscanner designer .

The designer of the E Flow app is following this forum and sure is working on this update ...

Exactly my point. Hope they will add the Macan, but strange the car uses something completely different than the Taycan

Should I be worried re Porsche batteries. Losing 10/15% in 3 years seems a lot. My Polestar has not lost any measurable capacity in 3 years and actually drives further on a full charge than when new and they advise charging to 90% which I always do except when100% for a long run. I also hear Tesla’s now have negigible loss too. On the other hand my dealer says they have been charging their courtesy Taycand to 100% every day as they have to go out full and they haven’t seen any loss either ( mind you this was his claim I haven’t seen the evidence)

MY 2021 Tesla M3 LR lost 5% capacity in 3 years(100000 km) and I find a legit number. 12% in 80k km seams a little too much...

Measured on my Taycan with 60000km, and it was 88% and that is low. Why is was low I have no ideer, be cause I always kept it inside and at 80%
The BimmerFlow app I used on my iX also reports wildly different values depending on temperature ... In summer it gets like a 104kwh capacity which is close to new after 3 years and 60K km’s but in winter it dips below a 100 and it’s not even that cold … no freezing temps …
So it all depends I guess … (In summer it goes up again …)

Any worries ? the data has changed

First generation of Taycan was powered with LG batteries , made in Poland.
J2 Tayan and Macan are both built with CATL batteries , used by some Tesla ?
A CATL factory is now installed in Gernany :

A post by @ciaranob , who did a lot of work, is dedicated to monitoring the soh of many Taycan ( data to date from 93 cars with 224 reading ) on the TAYCAN FORUM, with very precise readings.
I have the misfortune of being one of those who has lost the most.
And yet, i took very good care of my battery, maybe it is the fault of "bad luck" , IMHO ....

I’m interested in this as I use BimmerFlow now eflow …

i guess when you measure the first time... write down the temp and next time i guess measure only when the temp is the same maybe easier to have a consistent SOH reading then.
