Macan EV Software Update delaying delivery!

I'm going to push again and see if I can get a later allocation, I still want a Macan 4, but the delay is messing up other plans I have.

Moving to another allocation should be highly doable… let us know and good luck!

Yea unfortunately they don't want to. My city only has one Porsche dealer too so I had no real options available when I first signed up.

Check the legality of non-refundable car deposits in your state. They aren't actually valid in most, especially if they've now missed the dates they told you.

Oh no Never order innodrive + electric covers + standard interior. It seems like unlucky combo. But you are right, only fans and unlucky customers are on the forums. Before ordering my Tesla I thought I was going to have tons of problems based on what I read online but I ended up having 0.

was told late July or August
arrives early sept, had to wait for emissions
now for some update. Can not get an answer.
I have taken a 3K hit on my trade since August.
the Macan will be a 2024
my dads 2025 Cayan (not electric) has already been built and is waiting to ship

When I ordered back in Jan I was told July too. Now it's Oct and still no definitive answer. I know deep down my wife is saying "I told you so" regarding being an early adopter to a new car lol.

Me too, it has never seen Service in 3 years and 100000 km.

i had a tesla also . Not the best quality by any means. But zero problems for three years and 60k miles . Only had to change tires and touch up scratched wheels ( but that is on my wife)

My order got delayed actually a second time. This time with no pickup date... I am kind of disappointed by Porsche tbh... When I ordered my first car (Tesla), everything was smooth and was delivered on time. Is anyone familiar with the order cancellation processes?

Maybe something with your configuration? We ordered in the same location.

And the wait continues!!!!!
I got a call today from the dealership tech telling me that software update is not going through and they had to reach out to Porsche Atlanta center and started a process and the tech was given a date of Oct 9 for my cars ticket to be attended to by Porsche experts and hopefully they can guide the tech on what is needed for the software update to go through. He said he doesn’t know that after Oct 9 how long could be days or weeks!!!!!
I am simply speechless!!!!

In my case, they discovered a defective part that prevented the software upgrade from being completed. The part is expected to arrive in about 1.5 to 2 weeks. I hope this isn't the situation for you.
