Thanks, I have the same build number, but the Android security patch level is from December 5, 2023 and the Android kernel is January 26, 2024. Other cars I’ve seen on the dealership floor had more recent dates on these lines, but that’s the only difference I could find.

So maybe I’m behind on the Android version, but it says there are no software updates available when I try from the PCM 🤷‍♂️
Pretty sure they haven't applied the update that was made mandatory by Porsche... You can't get it OTA.

Thank you, that's my assumption as well. The service department at my local Porsche seems to be relatively clueless for anything software-related so it's quite frustrating. Not sure how to escalate that yet.

They ought to have learned by now given the Taycan was their baptism of fire for the last 4 years.

So far, my dealership is telling me they can't do anything about the Android update, and I just need to wait for an OTA update, which I have a hard time believing. So my car is going to download an update that's probably GBs of data on a free 3Mbps cellular connection, when it decides the time is right?

It's not like the wheels are falling off, but it's a little frustrating to have an obviously outdated OS and no clear path to updating it.

You can share a destination from Google Maps to Porsche via the Share menu.

1. Google maps
2. Find a location
3. Tap share
4. Select My Porsche App
5. Send to vehicle

Hi,

Thanks for the tip. I am able to share the Google maps to My Porsche but the destination is not sent. Not sure what I am doing wrong. When My Porsche App's map opens, it just shows the current location of the car and not the set destination!

Works most of the time... Sometimes I have to do it again when I go to the car. Sometimes it refreshes on its own by just opening the Nav app. 🤷

You can set comfort access to unlock driver door only, entire driver side or all doors. If you prefer the more restrictive lock setting, you can double press the key fob unlock to unlock all doors also.

This may only be for 4 zone climate control only. You can use the climate menu to set the settings for the rear zones, touching the Rear tab.
how do you set it to unlock all doors? I don’t see that option anywhere.

It is rather carefully hidden 🤔 under the vehicle gear icon several levels deep.
Vehicle->(gear icon)->vehicle settings->vehicle locking systems->door release
