Is that right?
In that case, I'm glad I just got Porsche's Sound Package Plus. I'm basically just a radio listener, and it is very good, just as good as BMWs Harman Kardan sound system in the last one I had.
Besides more space underneath ;)
Same for bigger/wider wheels I suspect. Tests are always done on 20in's. Put on 21's or 22's and you lose a fair bit of range. I was humming and hawing about 21's but tuck with 20's. We'll see how they look when I get the car.

I didn't spec powered charge port doors because there were quite a few problems with them when I locked in my configuration. I just didn't want to take a chance on what seemed like a pretty minor upgrade. Turns out, the non-powered charge port doors do not have any lighting (which the powered ones do). THAT is annoying when you're in a dark place trying to plug in. Were I to do it over again, I'd add that option.

The only other options I wavered on were rear wiper and noise insulated glass. Wanted the latter, but it was in low supply and would have delayed delivery. Coming from ICE cars, the Macan is very quiet, so I don't miss it. As far as the rear wiper goes, I don't miss it either. This option has been discussed at length elsewhere on this forum and I fall into the camp that feels the slope of the rear window mitigates much of why you'd want/need one. Rear visibility is pretty constricted in the these cars, so I'm happy to not have anything else impinge upon it. As always, YMMV.

I suspect the subwoofers are a massive drain on the charge.
Hmm I’m not so sure about that. I’m not an audio engineer but my understanding is even if you’re full blasting the subwoofer, the impact should be less than a few miles per hour of range.

The Bose for example is 710 watts, which translates to 0.71kWh if it’s at full blast for an hour, or <2 miles of range

And the Burmester has an ECO mode to limit power consumption if range is a concern. I don’t know if the Bose has this as well.
Bose does have an eco mode but i think it’s a marketing scam. The range impact of speakers is so tiny that even if the speakers are 100% efficient in eco mode (which they can’t be), you’d only earn back 2miles/hr anyway.

I have powered charge port doors and it is one of the areas that I'm concerned about for long term ownership because, if they break, there is no way (that I know of yet) to manually open them. But, I rolled the dice to get auto-close and lighting.

I also have the passenger display and I thought it was likely a long term liability and we're kind of glad we bought it and would do it again.

I'm still on the fence about the best set of wheels to buy because I will likely want every centimeter of range possible on road trips, but I have the less efficient 22" sport wheels. Do I regret it? IDK. Ask me again every year. I think the answer is going to be no regrets because the range of the car on 99% of the days in the year is a non-issue.

I think I would have done the dash cam wiring harness just because I haven't figured out dash cam yet and I may wish I had installed it. A year from now, this should be more fleshed out and known.

I'm glad I demanded Innodrive be in the car against the warnings of the SA.

Roof rails were debated in our household. We have them. It's fine. We'll probably never use them. Just like the tow hitch. If we do use them, we certainly won't be caring about the range issues with 22" sport wheels.

The roof rails are very nicely done, e.g., imo integrating onto the roof as aesthetically pleasing as could be. While not getting them, that integration was “well done Porsche.”

I'd get the 14 ways instead of the 18, but no massage function.

The 18 don't have adjustable headrests and with broad shoulders the top portion is uncomfortable for me. Biggest disappointment on the car. The ICE Macan 18 ways were fantastic, the Taycan 14s were okay, sad to see these be a downgrade so far.
