EVSE included with 2024/2025 Macan EV's

Team,

Now that deliveries are occuring - what is the EVSE porsche is providing along with your Macan - pics of the front and back please (back has specs and part numbers) and if possible in North America any picts of the NEMA 14-50/6-50 power supply cable - in particluar any markings on the side of the cable indicating wire gauge inside the cable…

We don't need multiple pics of the same unit - so if you get the same unit as the pics provided just confirm you have the same unit

But I'm looking for world wide information - any region - but in particular North America given the problems with the PMC+/PMCC power supply cables and such…

Also an inventory of what power supply cables the unit came with - Taycan historically came with a NEMA 5-15 and a NEMA 14-50 or 6-50 cable…

Cable length of the J-1772 cable would also be appreciated - is it the 15-17' vehicle cable or the PMCC 25' cable?

Thanks in advance - any facts/details we can gather will be greatly appeciated.

No EVSE included in France.
I will probably buy one from Tesla: it’s compact, solid and not expensive. Just have to figure out if it works with the Macan EV. I‘ll try as soon as I can (by next week?)

Here in Italy they say no chargers will be furnished together with the car, when I discovered it I literally assaulted the dealer until he added one in the order for free…

No charger in Italy (and EU) as other wrote. As @byebye, I will get the Tesla (200€) since I still have two other 16A and 32A connectors. PORSCHE EVSE is overpriced (more than 900€ in Italy) and no reason to prefer it.
I have a GEWISS Wallbox in my garage (7,2kW) and over 100000 kms with my Tesla I used the mobile charger once just to test it.

thank you - 8 AWG confirms thicker wire for better cooling - love the AUDI cable for a Porsche part (these are shared across VW/Audi/Porsche it's the same unit)

I can tell you that the cable did get warm during my first charging test. Don't have anything to compare it against so I figured it was normal given the high amperage and 9.2KWH

Looks like the same basic mount used for the Taycan - it should be very easy to quick dismount.

that length of power supply cable does not match any past experience with the included porsche EVSE’s - very odd!

also the vehicle to charger cable is quite short - not the 15’ or 25’ cable options

Exactly what i was thinking.... guess i'll have to park backwards in my garage

This does not look usable at all as a permanent garage charging setup given short length.
I understand the benefits of a plug-in setup, however clean direct wire with 25 ft cord is best with a 3rd party EVSE of your choice and then keep the Porsche one for travel.

This is my clean setup: direct behind the wall short copper wire, no aluminum pipes, no sockets to overheat, max charging power, and 25 ft cord that reaches 2 cars easily.
