Believe me Tomek, actually there are!!!Not only Porsche cars but also other expensive brands.I was in the Insurance business until I retire a year ago (I was running my own office) and I know first hand! You'll be amased by what some of them was asking in order to be able to achieve the lowest premium possible!!Honestly I don't get these videos.
I don't think people buying Porsche vehicles drive it without an insurance, many buy extended warranty so you really don't care how much the repair would be, especially in case of damage covered by insurance
what is there not to like? it's just a repair video...Honestly I don't get these videos.
One - if you buy an expensive car and EV at that, repairs are going to be expensive and anything related to the battery will be expensive.
Two - I don't think people buying Porsche vehicles drive it without an insurance, many buy extended warranty so you really don't care how much the repair would be, especially in case of damage covered by insurance
Three - if anything happens to the battery to the extend it triggers an internal safety sensor to go off, I don't know why would you try and replace damaged cells if the manufacturer states in such case the whole battery is to be replaced - it's a safety hazard
Four - this is a going to be interesting years ahead (like 10+) when many EV vehicles will be out of warranty and some without proper insurance and people will start doing weird s*** to them in sketchy repair shops - I think we are going to see down the line EVs are not that environmentally friendly after all, they will be difficult to work with and in many cases they will end up being simply dumped
exactly. as someone who loved to mod vehicles in the past, videos like this are just fun to watch. And, nothing gives more satisfaction than disassembling and reassembling a “toy” to see how it works! Most of us have been there! Lol
Hum.. they don’t know the history and no evidence of an accident yet they’re not giving it to Porsche to fix under warranty but instead doing it themselves and thereby voiding any warranty? Ok thenNice video to learn but also get stressed![]()
