We are in Southern California, and are willing to wait 6 months for an acknowledgment and prescribed fix from the factory. We took delivery of our 4S on 12/23.
It seems strange to me that Porsche gets the hard stuff right but gets some "simple" things wrong. The car drives like nothing in it's class- by a mile. And yet- alignment of a filler flap- something EVERY manufacturer gets spot on- is a fail and slips through quality control. We've had issues like this on 2 other new Porsches. Oh well...
