So much nonsense in that “article”, from the picture of the ICE version to saying the GTS is the “sportiest” trim…
And then there is the Turbo S and GT and in 2-3 years with model mid cycle refresh everything starts from the beginning again. There are always power differences for a GTS, it just sits in the middle between 4S and Turbo. The Porsche formula is quite simple.
Agree. But I found this info interesting, if true:So much nonsense in that “article”, from the picture of the ICE version to saying the GTS is the “sportiest” trim…
There's always the option to swap with leather as per other GTS models.Alcantara is faux suede too ! Whatever I don’t like too much of it , especially on the steering wheel. Personal choice I know!
Yes but why would you? Would potentially make resale difficult wouldn’t it?There's always the option to swap with leather as per other GTS models.
A lot more common in the ICE Macan than any other model from my experience, but agree it’s sacrilege!Yes but why would you? Would potentially make resale difficult wouldn’t it?
I had x2 Taycan 4S Cross Turismo - exceptional interior and no suede in sight. Sadly very unreliable and both (first in particular) spent a lot of time in the garage with no loan cars and little help from Porsche GB and hopeless dealership.A lot more common in the ICE Macan than any other model from my experience, but agree it’s sacrilege!
Main driver for me to look at my order for the EV is the cabin and experience (power and performance gap is likely to close more than ever).
Spent a lot of time in a taycan GTS and it’s an exceptional place to sit with the GTS interior pack.

I’ve seen 911 GTS not selling quickly when missing faux suede.I've always swapped on my GTS models.
Alcantara roof lining along with A and B pillars are fine though.
Typically the full GTS interior with either crayon or red stitching comes at a price premium.
Due to this this would explain additional colours of Carmine Red (metallic) and Crayon.
No real impact on resale either as more folk view leather as the preferred / premium choice.
I love mine, and I’ve had them in previous cars. I am lucky I don’t have greasy/oily hands, and if you wash the wheel now and then they are not as hard to maintain as many people think. Leather steering wheels do like to get a shIny look which I don’t find that nice either.Alcantara steering wheel is always a bit of a debate, I am sure you will find buyers looking for exactly that. It usually does not age as well and has quite a distinct feel.
Carmine Red is currently not a metallic finish.I've always swapped on my GTS models.
