Yeah, I like to provide a service.


For the trip computer, my understanding is that it uses historical driving behavior as a parameter, so for press cars that you see in YouTube videos, by the time the reviewer gets the car, it’s probably already been launch controlled to death by the previous reviewer, which would obviously skew estimates.
Maybe that's what has been happening. It's certainly very accurate based on my one week of driving.

Just hit my 1000 mile mark

temps here are between 40-50F

bit underwhelming figures as I was expecting a 300mile car (this is 15% less at 255 miles)

but oh well I have free charging at work and solar panels at home 😇

My results at 810 miles are a bit worse than yours. Got my 4S around the same time — 20” S wheels, driving in similar temperatures. My recent 320 mi trip averaging 65-70 mph probably didn't help my stats…

efficiency improved slightly, quick algebra shows that I've been averaging a consumption of 0.362 Wh/mile since my last update (~262 miles on 100% charge)

I must say I’m quite pleased with the consumption so far.

I went on my first longer drive this morning. I’m on my third day of ownership and until now I’ve only commuted to and from the office (six miles one way) and done some local driving around town.

This morning I went to pick up a friend for some outdoor activities. Both of us had about 30 pounds of gear that required the rear seat to be folded down to fit.

In the morning the temperatures were in the mid 40s and I used the “Max Defrost” setting to activate the heated windshield to clear condensation on the inside, as well as using the rear window heating.

During the drive I used InnoDrive for several dozen miles of freeway, and both my friend and I used the seat massager. We also had the climate control set to 68 degrees, which required heating in the morning and cooling on the way back. Additionally there was music playing through the Burmester, Waze through CarPlay for navigation, the HUD enabled, and two phones charging.

Traffic was stop-and-go at times (which the adaptive cruise control and InnoDrive handled beautifully), but there were also stretches of 85 MPH driving. The route took us through the Sepulveda Pass in both directions, as well as into a mountain canyon in the San Fernando Valley.

With all that stuff I was getting 2.9 mi/kWh in a Turbo with 22” RS Spyder wheels and Michelin All Season tires.

If you’re worried about consumption, trust that things will get better when warmer weather arrives.

A single macan battery can fully charge an iPhone 4500+ times before it runs out of battery.

Charging a single phone from 0-100% amounts to no more than a couple hundred feet of range loss for even the most lead-footed driver living in Antarctica. 🥶

No need to worry about range anxiety when plugging in your phone! 😊

Best run yet. 65 mile trip to work on motoroways with some traffic reducing the overall speed of the journey.

Temperature 10 degrees celsius. Macan 4 on standard 20" bridgestone wheels.

Slightly warmer temperature has definitely helped.

My Macan 4 ev w/22" sport wheels spent its first 1,000 miles in Florida and the data report at 1,000 miles was 2.9 miles/kWh an an average speed of 32 mph. In this period, the car had a few 100+ mph experiences that sapped some of its efficiency.
