Instead of driving, @Diego just paddles his car when he goes up the mountains. He is a good strong country lad 😜
Very impressive consumption numbers. Encouraging. Good on you, mate 👍

That's it. I'm immigrating to Italy then 😆 😆 😆

By the way, as this is a road tripping SUV, it's one of my wish to take some road trips in Italy, from London.
Your suggestions ideas, of which areas, would be very welcome :)

Probably worth mentioning the difference between the 4 and the Turbo. Those lower consumption values are all for Macan 4 (I believe anyway).

@Yves you don’t have the best efficiency, but with your Turbo, you have the style!

@Yves I feel your pain. Had the same feeling when reading the taycan forum. Compared to the efficiency numbers posted there my taycan (or my driving style 🤔) scored rather poor. Maybe it’s Belgian asphalt?

Thanks everybody for the compassion 🤪
First of, there is indeed a difference in 4 vs Turbo, but these are minimal, and mine are not.
Possible Reasons:
- Tire selection, though I opted for the 20 inch as I felt that would be a good choice for range, the Bridgestone Potenza’s have a rather poor fuel economy … cross shopping replacements when they are used.
- The highway driving with traffic makes it not always possible to drive optimum constant speed.
- condition of the asfalt is indeed also a factor … I see lower consumption with my BMW in France and Netherlands.
- My driving style, well the BMW app rates me always among the best in regards to consumption on a monthly basis, I’m most of the time below the average consumption of the community and that on 22 inch wheels …
- Regen, if you can warm up the battery regenning when going down from the mountains, consumption is lower when driving on the flat parts?
- Lower temps but I guess everybody is now around 5 to 10C

Watching this thread with great interest. I originally wanted a Taycan, but ultimately the range wasn't what I needed and post facelift, im now priced out of the market.

Would love a Porsche, but I really need 300 miles range all year round (due to my long commute). UK Tax breaks allow me to get an EV / hybrid, but the Taycan / Cayenne and Panamera are significantly more expensive.

I made a mistake with my last EV lease and ended up going back to petrol (dream V8 happy to keep). Can't afford to make that mistake again with another EV.

Will be interesting seeing what owners are getting, I would be prioritising range over performance.

@4sCT21 I can tell you right now a Macan isn't getting 300 miles year round. You may get it in perfect weather but anything else and there's no shot.

959 miles - road trip - hwy 40 - posted speed limits - 55/65/70/75 - matching traffic flow speeds - 38 kWh/100 miles is current total trip consumption.

220 miles per charge is a "stretch" at these consumption rates - 240 being absolute max if you could trust the chargers would work!

mild temps - 20" wheels - all season tires - hwy 40 speed limit which are 65/70/75 - matching flow of traffic - which is typically +5/+10 mph over limit - occasional "burst" to pass…
