I would really really appreciate if someone could find me an English version of that post. Thank youFollowing Porsche it is, among other things, depending on the drive mode:
EDITED as I got some answers. My turbo spoiler is confusing me. According to manual and what I have been reading it should automatically come up and down depending on speed of vehicle. The manual option of having it up is supposedly just to clean under it a guy online once mentioned.
However when I had it up for cleaning I noticed that it went up and down based on speed and stayed up when car is off. I turned it down I noticed it one time going up when I sped suddenly.
However on normal driving on the highway I didn’t realize it going up and down on high speed even though on high speed the car goes to lower height even on normal.
So this speaks to a question I posed. You do not have Sports Chrono but see the spoiler move. Why then do we need to pay for PAA if we already have it?Another confusing part for me is that PAA (Porsche Active Aerodynamic) is only active if you opt for Sport Chrono Pack. I don't have the pack but I see the spoiler engaging even when driving slowly like under 20km...
Answer is in the screenshot: "performance oriented xxx, yyy and zzz".So this speaks to a question I posed. You do not have Sports Chrono but see the spoiler move. Why then do we need to pay for PAA if we already have it?
the diagram shows at which speeds the spoilers deploy and retract based on drive mode (and interestingly sunroof status)I would really really appreciate if someone could find me an English version of that post. Thank you
Yes I read that first but then I did not find any other place were they say you get PAA (standard or otherwise) so I was lead to believe this is what you have to buy to get it. Have you seen it listed elseware? Maybe I missed that but this would make more sense and now I see a translation of the feature. All is now well in the worldAnswer is in the screenshot: "performance-oriented xxx, yyy and zzz".
Features exist without the Sport Chrono package, they are tweaked for performance with it.
It's interesting that the "sports chrono package" page in my configurator is different than yours and that mine mentions PAA and yours does not. I get that different locations get different feature sets but does seem a bit odd that the list under the same heading and picture has two very different lists.Does choosing the Compass/Altimter option instead of the Sport Chrono therefore mean that one will or will not get PAA? As Dave pointed out we can get compass and altimater through nav and the one of the driver’s display info line, seems to me that a fair amount is being lost if one chooses the Compass option.
