That is surely interesting. Perhaps the dealers in the USA are more honest ? My dealer told me that they had it on a demo Cayenne and almost everyone specced it after trying. But you’re right, the Macan is a relatively small car and the benefit is not as great as on a large one. I had it once on a BMW 5GT and loved it. But that was the same chassis as a BMW 7 series.This is an interesting one: every single dealer I talked to told me *not* to get the rear-axle steering, that it’s great if I want to autocross but on a “small” car like the Macan, totally not worth the money.
Boggles my mind 4 different salespeople are telling me not to spend that $2k.
I still have time before the freezing date mid June, so I’ll perhaps have to reconsider it. American dealers can’t all be wrong ?
This is the problem where you can't try the cars before you finally order them. At least in the Netherlands. I will receive a preview of the car on May 21st., but it is not allowed to drive it yet…
