That is surely interesting. Perhaps the dealers in the USA are more honest My dealer told me that they had it on a demo Cayenne and almost everyone specced it after trying. But you’re right, the Macan is a relatively small car and the benefit is not as great as on a large one. I had it once on a BMW 5GT and loved it. But that was the same chassis as a BMW 7 series.This is an interesting one: every single dealer I talked to told me *not* to get the rear-axle steering, that it’s great if I want to autocross but on a “small” car like the Macan, totally not worth the money.
Boggles my mind 4 different salespeople are telling me not to spend that $2k.
I still have time before the freezing date mid June, so I’ll perhaps have to reconsider it. American dealers can’t all be wrong
This is the problem where you can't try the cars before you finally order them. At least in the Netherlands. I will receive a preview of the car on May 21st., but it is not allowed to drive it yet…
