Delivery was today, and: WOW
Not a surprise, I’m coming from a 2018 TMS, so, you know!
Driving: I’ve only driven it 80 km, very carefully thanks to smog. But, it’s so smooth and precise that I’m sure I’m going to love it.
Accelerator is very progressive, brakes are very strong (even thought I don’t have (yet) a lot of regen). There is no gap between the little regen and the real brakes.
Tires (PZero on 22) are noisy, it’s not annoying but just noisy. I don’t think double layered glass mitigate that.
Rear axle steering: I didn’t feel it on the highway, (I must admit, I didn’t pay attention), but in the town, WTF, it’s like someone is pushing behind the car, so very impressive.
Hud: everything you need to drive securely with your eyes focused on the road.
Carplay: a huge step forward, I don’t miss Tesla software.
One more thing: it’s really big and really nice in the flesh. Ice grey is a so nice color in real life, that I can’t wait to see it under different lights.
Surprisingly, efficiency was not so bad: 22.9 kWh/100km for 8 km in town, 45 km on the highway, 9 in the countryside, 3 degrees C to 9.
