My dealer is still in the stage of ruling out external influence (meaning my home's infrastructure), and apparently they still don't have enough data to escalate to Porsche AG. They wanted to send an electrician to install a device to lower the voltage from 240.2 to 240 and below to see if it charges. But my husband doesn't want them messing with our electrical system when he knows it's not our house that's the problem; proven by the fact that other cars (Taycan and X) are able to charge at our house. So right now, it's a waiting game for me because they're going to try another client who is having the same issue as me and they're going to send electrician to her house if she's okay with it. It really sucks when their local diagnostic process is so slow. They literally sat on their butts on this until I called Porsche Canada to complain.
You need to push back because my dealer (only at first) did the same thing. It sadly depends on how firm you are which is evidently showing how they suddenly became willing to solve the issue after you escalated to HQ. If I were you, I would get a loaner and leave it to them until they find a solution. If there is an open case on your car connected to the warranty they get compensation for every km on the loaner anyway.

I'm having the same issue with our new Lucid Gravity. The Grizzl-E I've had for 5 years charged our Mach-E just fine, and charges our Macan just fine. But faults every time I plug in the Gravity. So I tried the mobile charger that came with the Gravity using the same 240V outlet, and it works on the Gravity. I also tried the the Porsche mobile charger and it works on the Gravity too. Everything works with everything else except the combination of the Grizzl-E + Gravity.

Strange.
That's weird. Maybe Lucid is picky about the charger. Interestingly Flying4fun recommended the Grizzl-E to me, and I joined their club and got their mini charger. Since charger becomes free after charging 4000kw, and we earn $0.03/kw thereafter, I figured why not. User daveo4EV told me to get rid of the Porsche Mobile Charger as it's not very good. We will see if it charges with the grizzl-e. Should be getting it next week.

They said they could give me an ICE macan loaner, but I really don’t like driving an ICE car after driving the EV. The instant torque makes the driving experience so much better. Plus no more standing in the freezing cold to gas up, plus cheaper and cleaner fuel. Can’t beat it. Today I took my car to my neighbour’s house, whose cars charges at my house, to test charging mine. My car doesn’t charge at her house. I wasn’t surprised about that since her house is on the same electric distribution system as mine. She’s a few houses down the road. But she’s able to charge her Taycan and X at her own home. If this isn’t enough proof for Porsche to rule out my home infrastructure as the culprit, then I don’t know what else they need to escalate this.

I do not know if the home charging is solved yes or no, but I think the issue is not the voltage it’s the neutral line and or grounding. We had a power outage and when they fixed it temporary for a few hours all devices worked except my fridge … I checked the wall plug and it was delivering 230v and working … ordered a new fridge … only to cancel the order as in the evening they did the final repair and the fridge started working again. So my 2 cents, it’s not voltage but it’s something else that is wrong and the Porsche onboard charger is not happy for some reason.

@Pepppie Apologies, but this all started from a software update which bricked a lot of owner's charging. I could start a new thread, but I think we're almost at the end of the discussion anyway. This information could help other users experiencing the same issue troubleshoot their problem.
2 pages further... Not quite there yet ;-)

I think a separate topic would work better (with a link from this topic)

I had the software update done yesterday. The Macan was there for one day (with it also receiving a minor wheel repair), and so the update seems like it was a non-event for the technician. Scottsdale dealership is first class. Driving home, no issues, didn’t notice any big changes. Charging at home, no issues. I will get my second Macan in now; more observations to follow.

Had the the WSJ0 (v28.13 software) done yesterday along with luggage compartment cover replacement and seat belt clip. The dealer installed the clip on the driver's side seat belt. I asked the service advisor and they confirmed it should be on the driver's side. I found the service campaign on the DOT site and it's clear as day that it should be on the passenger side. Sheesh.

I don't see the option to open/close charge port doors in my Android app (which I believe is up to date according to the Google Play Store). Am I the only one? Or am I not looking in the right place in the app?

I'm not seeing it in the app either. Is it supposed to be there?

I typically use the buttons on the Goodbye screen on the PCM to open my charge port doors.

@Petzi I also know that some driver side seatbelts are also missing the clip to hold it up. My friend needed to search for his seat belt clip somewhere at the bottom next to his seat. Maybe that was also missing in his case? The passenger seat clip is also to prevent the rattle and hold it up as well I think? Or the additional loop is to prevent the rattle?

@dbsb3233 I think the app requires another update or something. It is announced to have the option but nobody has seen it so far for a Macan that is, not sure about others models.

The installation of the new clip is part of this update. It has been this way since October and has been done tens of thousands of times. And its the passenger belt.

I keep reading about what repair shops are doing and it makes me feel sick. What's more, they blame Porsche for their incompetence. This leads to problems such as a defective passenger side electric heater. Everything has been clear since November. The part needs to be replaced. Apparently, there are repair shops that don't get it or are lying about it.

This seems to be a wide spread problem and makes a lot of people angry. There are many such examples. ā€žoh we have never heard about this ever before. Are you sure ? We have to consult with porsche germanyā€œ Its a joke. My tip: write a letter or email to Porsche.

This! It's so on point! I see you better understand the frustration of some people here, which IN MOST CASES comes down to absurd client relations with local service departments.

By now I'm convinced they create more problems than actual issues with cars. Unqualified repair shops add to confusion, exacerbate existing problems, compensate for lack of experience by treating customers like idiots and overall have a very poor standard of care. This sentiment is shared by all of my friends having different Porsche cars including ICE cars. So as long as your car is fine - it's one of the best on the planet. But once you start having problems well you are s*** out of luck.

This should not be acceptable by a premium brand and I'm stunned this seems to be a wide spread problem in many countries. I've reported this to directly to Porsche but I very much doubt anything will come of it. I'm afraid they lead be example here.

That's exactly the problem. I understand the frustration of some people here. I don't want to downplay it. I'm just trying to explain that these problems are not technical or software flaws in the car itself. Because if that were the case, no Macan would work properly.

I discussed the problems with my PC service manager, and he said that Porsche has long since issued technical instructions for almost all of these problems. Apparently, some service centers can't read... For example, when I read that the software update is being postponed by some PCs due to alleged problems, I don't make sense of it.

My cars received the update in October. When my Turbo was at the PC, an upgrade was released to fix the problems. Since then, the update and everything has been running smoothly. How is it possible that there are workshops that haven't noticed this since October?
