Despite my mobile having a good 5G signal the car’s sim is still showing 4G
I noticed 4G/5G availability depends on the country - as an example it works in DE czy CZ where I went skiing this December and it does not work in PL and AT at least in my case.

Was handed to me in a low (39 mi) state of charge (mostly a problem because I live 90 miles from the dealership), personal sign-in inaccessible, Sirius XM in a constant state of "loading," charging door not fixed (apparently not software after all?), and rear deck not fixed (later two issues were not completed because parts were reportedly hung up in Memphis customs and not available to make the repairs). Oh, and my front, under bumper mounted license plate had been scraped off the car somehow (still not found as of this writing).
Yeah it shows what we discussed here that it's unbelievable how bad Porsche’s service seems to be lately and it seems to be a very widespread issue.

Strange.....How sure is that the dealer updated your car?Did you get any report for the works carried out in your car?
No written report. I received a video by the technician showing tyres etc all good and he said he had installed the update. When I collected it, I was told it was the fastest and untroubled one they had done - I’ll ask again if it was a full update

I don't mean to doubt your dealer, just as I remember there are many modules to be updated and maybe the update didn't completed correctly.It is surprising that you having these issues after the updates. Unless a hardware causing your trouble, should work almost identical like all other cars.wishing you good luck!

Yes a Porsche Dashcam but hardwired and had it since new so unlikely to be the cause now.
It would be kind if you could try turning off you dash cam, and measure idling consumption.

(I DM you for more context)

My car is receiving various assistance systems unavailable messages and muting of the infotainment since the last update that was done in November. Before that update, I was receiving various messages and infotainment issues, but not so frequently.
The problem disappears after switching off the car for a few minutes, but this is NOT a solution.
I have booked an appointment for 20 Jan, but I am not very optimist that they will fix it....

However, I have NOT issues with batteries, charging or other mechanical items as other people have.
I too experienced frequent muted speaker issues after the software update performed on November 29th. I brought my 4S back to the dealership on January 2nd to get a new version of the update installed and haven’t had any speaker issues since then.

I cancelled the booking as they did not had a lease car at that moment to provide me with.
The new appointment is set for 10 Feb

Just experienced a new bug after the update (it could be in the old software as well, but never experienced it). When using the steering wheel mode change knob to very quickly go from Sport Plus back to Normal, I noticed that the front right dash display indicated Normal mode, but the Electric Sport Sound, Suspension, and Chassis flags remained in their Sport Plus indications. Slowly moving the knob from Normal to Sport and back to Normal again did reset all indications back to their expected displays.

Mine was collected yesterday for the update and after 2 days. The update finally was completed after 3 crashes but now have to leave it over the weekend as it no longer locks the car, first time they said this has happened so will collect the other car key tomorrow for it to be reprogrammed on Monday and hopefully get it back Monday/tuesday. So it will be away for 5 days not 2 not happy as no loan car was available. Wife isn’t too pleased as weekend plans are now cancelled.

I thought the weather was a driver, but in the last two weeks we have had wild weather swings from -20c to +9c and the same assistance feature errors light up the dash. I thought it was dirty sensors, and was cleaning them at every trip, went through a bottle of Windex and there was no difference. Sometimes the error would even go away after not cleaning the sensor, after parking for 15-30 min.

There was no logic to how and when the errors would present, closest I could get to a pattern was something between 5-10 power cycles would trigger the errors for another 5 or 10 power cycles and then repeat (I didn't carefully document this, it's more how it felt than what I could prove).

I have been diligent about recording if/when driving into the sun and parking facing into the sun for when the sensors start to misbehave, no change. Our sun stays low this time of year, but no matter the time of day same 'random' pattern presents.

I gave up today and rebooked but I have to wait a month before they will get me back in with a loaner.

Hopefully something clicks, and a real solution is found. The sensor alignment thing is something I will ask about.
I have been getting these assistance systems unavailable error messages since the beginning. There’s no rhyme or reason. I would get them in a clear summer day at random. So it’s not just snow or rain that triggers them. And I get them a lot. On the daily. So when dealer pulls error codes from my vehicle, there are usually over 100-200 codes. But they’re inactive, so nothing gets done. I don’t think Porsche has a clue as to why it’s happening, so they don’t know how to fix. Their go to response is “wait for the next software update.” Which broke my charging. So…😅 I don’t have high hopes they will ever fix it.

You should be able to get all history on your car from them. Probably the WSJ0 was already applied to your build. They kept it under the radar at first I guess, I've seen multiple cars from September till November as well that already presumably had the update.

I have been getting these assistance systems unavailable error messages since the beginning
I have a very specific case where my HUD fades out when driving directly into the sun that I found this TI for https://dot.report/bulletins/11022815. I've not noticed the non-HUD problems, as it's hard to notice the interior lighting when driving into the sun!

My car is in next week for the other updates, and I'm getting them to check for this and hope they replace the Weather Sensor to fix it. This TI mentions that no fault codes are saved for this case, but if your assistance systems are failing, you might also have this problem, and it's easy to check for. It *might* help your case.

They (the dealership/service department) certainly could inform you which is the software version your car has installed when exited the factory.They'll simply have to connect it to their tools.Most likely you'll see 28.13 is already installed.Same happened with 2 friends of mine,4S both of them.The one late July/early August built like yours and the other early October.Mine,18 September built date has also 28.13 already installed from the factory.If your car isn't affected by the campaign it simply won't be shown in their systems as a candidate.The reason it doesn't show is because you already have it.
