haha tesla! you cant be serious . as far i know some of the cybertrucks had not even a navigation for the first 6 months. mercedes ev is a joke, even their dealers tell you not buy it. and the chinese cars? as a tester said: āyou know the difference after the first curve.ā and so on.No one, but my point was not that Porsche is modern. I am still very happy with the car though.
BMW, Tesla, Polestar, Hyundai, BYD, Rivian, Lucid, Mercedes can and all do very frequent updates. And there are way more.
OTA is a problem for every brand and has nothing to do with "modern". the user does not read any manual / instructions. (as most of the posted "problems" show) Everybody expects to enter the car in the morning and a brand new software and firmware is perfectly working. NOBODY is able to accomplish this. Not even the big software companies. not Microsoft, not apple. The problems occur not when some hundred pros beta test it, they occur when all the users that have no idea about anything start to use it. I would even say it is not safe to do relevant updates OTA. It is much more considerate to do it in the shop, although it is cheaper to do it OTA.
