Update after two weeks at the dealership they are sure that they were able (took several tries) to completely and successfully download VR28.11/WSD0, but yet cannot rule out that there might other issues remaining. They are committed to fixing everything, i.e., the Shop Foreman is personally working on ours, but has asked for two more days to confirm everything is now working perrfectly — including addressing for sure our 4-time intermittent failing entire rear quarter, driver’s side lights work 100% from now on. Hopefully next week they will have full confidence that all is working perfectly and release it back to us.

The ole expression, “Patience Grasshopper,” is what we have been, are still living…
It sounds like my experience is tracking similar to yours. I'm coming up on one week and still waiting for an update from the dealership. Shop foreman is also handling mine. The good news is my loaner is a Macan 4....

Hope this next week allows both us to get ours home, Darn, we are far from alone experiencing massive software implementation problems for our Macan EV’’s, e.g., ust as there were for the Taycan launched five years ago whereas all of us were hoping that Porsche would thus have the Macan’s software all figured out from the get-go.

I originally shared this in a different thread, but I think it makes more sense to post it here as well:
My car is 6 months old with around 13,000 km on it. Last week, while it was parked (not in use), the alarm started going off randomly—day or night—without any clear reason. It never happens while driving, only when stationary.
I took it to the authorized dealer. On the first day, they said they had applied a software update and that the alarm issue seemed resolved. However, a different error code appeared, and they attempted another software installation. That update failed, and since then the car has been sitting at the dealer without any clear solution.
The car has now been at the dealer since Tuesday with no deadline given. In the meantime, they provided a BMW X1 as a loaner for 7 days, which I’m really not satisfied with given the segment difference. Beyond that, I still have no idea what will happen.
Important detail: I delivered the car in fully working condition, but now I’ve been informed that the vehicle is not drivable due to an incomplete software installation. So the car became non-operational after it entered service.

Porsche is Porsche: dealership must solve all the issues, even though those issues are invisible for the customer.
So, with or without updates, if there is only one software issue (like a bad system fault which has no visible impact on the car ), they keep the car...

I think this policy is too extreme for software issues like bad trace&secondary system log faults..

Yea the resolution is HORRIBLE
I do wonder if they have addressed this somehow in recent software. After seeing the complaints on the forum I made a point to look at this again when I went in to look at color samples.

The main thing that is noticeable is the smaller view due to screen size, but I wouldn’t complain at all about the sharpness of the picture. I’m not sure if it’s a recent fix or if it’s something you have to live with awhile to understand. My visual acuity is quite good and I’ve experienced great cameras on cars like Volvo EX90 and BMW iX, both have larger screens but given the size of the Macan’s there were no glaring issues with the cameras.

Edit - just saw the recall, maybe that’s it. This apparently causes blurred vision due to physical leaks in the faulty module, and there is also some software issue. So it’s possible some people just need repairs.

I dropped my car off a week ago... i regret it already as I know it's going to take way longer than they estimated. (2 days)

They think this one update fixes all problems....

again, my car is locked and hasn't been unlocked or moved for a week.

The only issues I have with my car (AC again, blowing passenger foot vent) and the SAT antenna.

They are also performing the headlight recall.. which i dont think are bright enough anyway.

I’m getting the software update tomorrow. I really hope this update fixes the myriad of warnings which briefly appear on my dashboard every few weeks!

I’ll let you know how it goes when I pickup my 4S later this week.

Just heard back from our Porsche dealership that they yesterday confirmed our Macan EV is running perfectly, that all software (VR28.11/WSD0 and more had been now installed properly; and finally, that our 4-time intermittent lights out (rear quarter driver’s side) issue had also been resolved as a result of the software updates. To confirm, with our endorsement, they waited overnight to double check all the systems today, again finding this afternoon they were 100% in excellent working order (both physically and software-wise).

As one more confirmation, as we are out of town and our house sitter is not going to pick up our Macan (per us), as the dealership and I both agreed, they are going to run a few more ignition cycles over the next few days by driving it five times, 20 mile minimum each time, then Friday afternoon performing one extra last round of checking the car’s software and other systems, e.g., triple checking.

I am very pleased with the commitment of Porsche Beaverton to get our car fully fixed — even having the Shop Foreman personally working on it. Sure it took a little longer than we wished, but driving a new Cayenne has been a really good vehicle in the interim. (Sure drives better in Sport mode IMO.)

Yes, unfortunately this is an official Porsche dealership.

They gave me a BMW X1 for 7 days, then said they would provide an Audi A3 sedan for the next 2 days, and after that I would be given a Macan.

But at the end of those 2 days, they told me the Macan was still with another customer and they could “maybe help me” 4 days later.

It all felt very unprofessional and unreliable.

Honestly, I think the reason my car has been sitting in their service area for 10 days is this same amateur-level management.

I had to bring my Macan 4 to the shop because most probably when I have got the car in November they did not fill the gas for the AC, and it was not working. They also changed the tires with the summer set. They told me that they also updated the software. The whole thing just took 2 days… I can’t believe that a software update can take all that time.

will there be a change log?
and did the dealers reach out to you guys, or do you have to call them and arrange for the recall fix?
